Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993
Redefining the Class of Persons of a Māori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338(5)(d) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the purpose of the Māori reservation as set out in the notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 12 October 1972, No. 83, page 2292, is redefined to read:
“that the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is set aside as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a papakāinga for the common use and benefit of Ngā Uri o Tangata.”
