Conservation Act 1987

Authorisation of Exchange of Conservation Area for Other Land

Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Conservator of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation authorises the exchange of the conservation area described in the First Schedule for the land described in the Second Schedule and further specifies that the land in the latter Schedule be held for conservation purposes.

Public Works Act 1981

Land Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control—Manawatu River, Palmerston North City

Pursuant to section 20(1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes and vested in Manawatu-Wanganui Regional Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Reserves Act 1977

Change of Classification of Reserves—Picton, Marlborough District

Pursuant to section 24A of the Reserves Act 1977, Anthony Percy Quirk, Marlborough District Council hereby:

(a) changes the classification of the reserve described in the First Schedule from a local purpose (site for plunket rooms) reserve to a local purpose (civic purposes) reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act;

(b) changes the classification of the reserve described in the Second Schedule from a local purpose (municipal buildings and car park access) reserve to a local purpose (civic purposes) reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act; and

(c) changes the classification of the reserves described in the Third Schedule from a local purpose (site for municipal buildings) reserve to a local purpose (civic purposes) reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act.
