Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Local Purpose Reserve Specifying That the Land Shall Vest in the Western Bay of Plenty District Council in Fee Simple and How to Utilise its Value

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Acting Conservation Support Manager for the East Coast Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as a local purpose reserve over the land described in the Schedule and declares that the land vests in the Western Bay of Plenty District Council in fee simple provided that a sum equal to the current market value of the land is paid by the council into its reserves account to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.
