Land Acquired for Use in Connection With a Road (River Diversion Purposes)—State Highway 1 Hihitahi, Ruapehu District
Pursuant to section 20(1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is acquired for use in connection with a road (river diversion purposes) and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Road Realignment—State Highway 1 Hihitahi, Ruapehu District
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand:
(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 5 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003, forms part of State Highway 1 and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, which has the effect of adding the portions of road described in the Second Schedule to State Highway 1, pursuant to section 5 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003.
(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portions of road adjoining or passing through the land described in the Third Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, further declares, pursuant to section 120(3), that:
(i) Sections 30 and 40 shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register WN40A/79, subject to section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991 and Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987;
(ii) Sections 51 and 59 shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register WNE3/602, subject to section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991 and Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987;
(iii) Section 73 shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register WN21A/952, subject to section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991 and Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987.
(c) Pursuant to section 119, declares the severance described in the Fourth Schedule to this notice to be taken and shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register WNE3/603, subject to section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991 and Part IVA of the Conservation Act 1987.
