Reserves Act 1977

Revocation of a Notice Relating to a Reserve and Issue of a Fresh Notice

Under section 6(3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and by reason of an error made in the notice described subsequently, the Conservator revokes the notice headed Declaring Classification and Naming of a Reserve, dated the 19th day of May 2011 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 2 June 2011, No. 76, page 1816, and issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.

Declaring Classification and Naming of a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator for the East Coast Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a scenic reserve and declares that the reserve be known as the Waiotahi Estuary Scenic Reserve.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as scenic reserve over the land described in the Schedule to this notice.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Reserve Land

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as recreation reserve over the land described in the Schedule, with the effect that the land shall become Crown Land available for disposal.

Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338(1) of Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a papakainga or communal dwelling for the common use and benefit of the descendants of the Te Hoeroa Tahau (1981) Whānau Trust. The reservation is to be known as the Tauhara Middle No.4A No.1M No.2B No.1 Māori Reservation.
