Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992

Revocation of the Approved Code of Practice for the Safe Erection and Use of Scaffolds (1995)

Notice is given that the Minister of Labour has approved the revocation to Approved Code of Practice for the Safe Erection and Use of Scaffolds (1995), pursuant to section 20(1)(a) of the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992.

This approved code will be revoked from 15 August 2010.

The Scaffolding and Rigging Association New Zealand Best Practice Guideline will replace this approved code to set out a statement of preferred work practices or arrangements for the health and safety practices for the safe erection and use of scaffolding.
