Pursuant to section 42(3)(b) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Margaret Anne Kennedy, Land Information New Zealand, declares that the land described in the Schedule to be Crown Land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

Classification of Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Hastings District Council notifies that it confirmed on 22 June 2010 a resolution passed by the Havelock North Borough Council on 11 December 1985, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 16(2A) of the Reserves Act 1977, that the reserve described in the First Schedule is classified as a local purpose (plantation and cultural artistic and creative purpose) reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act and forms part of the Keirunga Gardens reserve, Havelock North.

Reserves Act 1977

Vesting Reserve in Local Authority

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Under section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Wellington Regional Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it, resolved on 30 March 2010 that the land held by the council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto shall be and is hereby declared to be a scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section 19(1)(a) of the Act.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator for the East Coast Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby revokes the reservation as a Government purpose (buildings of the general Government) reserve over the land described in the Schedule.

Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993

Notice of Redefining the Purposes of a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338(5)(d) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori lands referred to in the Schedule as set out in a notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 15 March 1990, No. 39, page 829, were set aside as a Māori reservation, the purposes of the said Māori reservation are redefined by:

(a) amending the area of Pukenui 2N2B2A Block from "3.4398 hectares"
to "4.2030 hectares".
