Māori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989

Māori Land Development Notice

Pursuant to section 21 of the Māori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Māori Development hereby gives notice as follows.

Notice

1. This notice may be cited as Māori Land Development Notice, Whangarei 2010, No. 7.

2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is, in relation to the piece of land described in the Second Schedule hereto, hereby revoked.

3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from the provisions of Part II of the Māori Affairs Restructuring Act 1989.

A Proclamation

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, I, The Honourable Sir Anand Satyanand, Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule to be taken for the functioning indirectly of a road and to vest in the Hamilton City Council on the 14th day after the date of the publication of this Proclamation in the New Zealand Gazette.

Land Acquired for Limited Access Road—State Highway 6 Main Road, Luggate, Queenstown Lakes District

Pursuant to section 20(1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Trevor Knowles, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is acquired for road which, pursuant to section 88(2) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
