Cancellation of appointments—On 1 June 2010, the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture cancelled, under Regulation 10(1) of the Fisheries (Kaimoana Customary Fishing) Regulations 1998, the appointment of John Nepe Apatu, Jeff Hira, Raylene Hutcheson, Russell Kupa, Hiraka Renata, Ross Young Scott and Donald Tipene as Tangata Kaitiaki for managing customary food-gathering within the area/rohe moana.
