Notification of Proposal to Make Ordinary Rules

In accordance with section 34(1)(a) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, the Minister of Transport hereby gives notice of his intention to make the following ordinary Civil Aviation Rules:

CAR Part 137 Agricultural Aircraft Operations

The purpose of this rule-making proposal is to address a series of issues which propose changes to: operator certification including programmes for maintenance, crew training and fatigue management; technical requirements and specifications for aircraft systems and equipment; and the pilot agricultural and chemical ratings.

Consequential Amendments:

CAR Parts 1, 12, 19, 61, and 91.
