Road Realignment—State Highway 1
Tumai-Waikouaiti, Dunedin City

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 88(2) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette which has the effect of adding the portions of road described in the Second Schedule to State Highway 1 pursuant to section 5 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003.

(b) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the Third Schedule to this notice to be road and shall vest in the Dunedin City Council on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

(c) Pursuant to section 119, declares the severance described in the Fourth Schedule to this notice to be taken and further declares:

(i) Sections 11, 15, 36, 39 and 40 shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

(ii) Sections 33 and 34 shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register OT4C/627 subject to Gazette Notice 481505, Part IV of the Conservation Act 1987 and section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991.

(iii) Section 42 shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register OT10A/334 subject to Gazette Notice 481505.

(iv) Sections 44 and 45 shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register OT268/70 subject to Gazette Notice 481505, Part IV of the Conservation Act 1987 and section 11 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991.

(d) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portions of road adjoining or passing through the land described in the Fifth Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120(3), further declares:

(i) Section 16 shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register OT4C/627 subject to Gazette Notice 481505.

(ii) Sections 21 and 25 shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register OT268/207 subject to Mortgage 7847808.2.

(iii) Section 26 shall be amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register OT222097 subject to Gazette Notice 481505.
