Southwest Pacific Basin

23°00.00'S, 170°00.00'W; 42°00.00'S, 132°00.00'W; 54°00.00'S, 170°00.00'E. South-east of New Zealand. A deep basin bounded on the west by the Tonga and Kermadec Trenches, the Subantarctic Slope and the Macquarie Ridge, in the southeast by the Pacific-Antarctic Ridge, and in the north-east by the chain of Polynesian Islands that extends from Easter Island, through Tuamoto Islands, the Society Islands, the northern Cook Islands, and the Tokelau Islands to Samoa. Bollons Seamount

Borchgrevink Canyon

Campbell Plateau

The triangular, southern part of the New Zealand Plateau bounded by the North Bounty Slope to the north, the Antipodes Scarp (southern Subantarctic Slope) to the south-east, and by the Aucklands Slope to the west. From it rise the New Zealand Subantarctic islands. Colville Ridge

Ridge
29°30.00'S, 180°00.00'E. Northern New Zealand. Extends 300km north-eastwards from the lower continental slope off the Coromandel Peninsula. A 2500m deep saddle separates it from the South Fiji Ridge to the north.
