Notification of Commerce Commission’s Draft TSO Cost Allocation Determination for the Period 1 July 2009 to 30 June 2010
On 16 November 2010, the Commerce Commission, pursuant to section 87(a) of the Telecommunications Act 2001 ("the Act"), prepared a draft TSO cost allocation determination of the matters set out in section 88 of the Act for the period between 1 July 2009 and 30 June 2010.
Pursuant to section 87(b) of the Act, the Commission gives public notice of its draft determination.

The Commission gives public notice that the closing date for submissions on its draft determination is 30 November 2010.

On 16 November 2010, the Commerce Commission, pursuant to section 92(a) of the Telecommunications Act 2001 ("the Act"), prepared a draft TSO cost calculation determination of the matters set out in section 93A of the Act for the TSO instrument for telecommunications relay services for the hearing impaired, for the period between 1 July 2009 and 30 June 2010.
Pursuant to section 92(b) of the Act, the Commission gives public notice of its draft determination.

Hazardous Substances (Prohibiting Methyl Bromide Use) Notice 2010
Pursuant to section 66 of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996 ("the Act"), the Environmental Risk Management Authority issues the following notice.
Notice

Title—This notice is the Hazardous Substances (Prohibiting Methyl Bromide Use) Notice 2010.

Commencement—This notice comes into effect 28 days after the date of notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Purpose—(1) The purpose of this notice is to prohibit the use of:
(a) gas containing 980g/kg methyl bromide and 20g/kg chloropicrin (HSNO Approval HSR001637); and
(b) gas containing 300–670g/kg methyl bromide and 330–700g/kg chloropicrin (HSNO Approval HSR001638).
(2) Substances listed in (1) are to be disposed of at the owner’s expense by 1 January 2011 in accordance with the controls that applied to that substance immediately prior to this notice taking effect.
