Redefining the Beneficiaries of a Māori Reservation

On the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori land referred to in the Schedule, as set out in New Zealand Gazette, 28 November 1991, No. 181, page 3739, was set aside as a Māori reservation.

Pursuant to section 338(5)(c) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, the purposes of the said Māori reservation are redefined by:

(a) redefining the person or class of persons for whose use and benefit the reservation is made to being for the descendants of Ngawaero and Unu; and

(b) naming the reservation the Ngawaero Marae Trust.

South Auckland Land District

Schedule

All that piece of land situated in Kakepuku 9B4D1B2B Block and described as follows:

Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338(2) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation, to be included in the Māori reservation known as Wharawhara No 8 (Meeting House) Māori Reservation for the purpose of a marae for the common use and benefit of Whānau a Ru Taia Hapū in particular and Te Whānau a Apanui in general.

Gisborne Land District

Schedule

All that piece of land situated in Block V Haparapara Survey District contained in Computer Freehold Register 342075 and described as follows:
