The notice of direction to appoint a limited statutory manager for the board of trustees of Uruti School (as published in a Supplement to the New Zealand Gazette, 23 December 2009, No. 190, page 4546) is hereby revoked under section 78M(7) of the Education Act 1989.
This notice takes effect the day after the date of its publication.

Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Ngāringaomatariki, Kaipara District, Northland, Establishment
Pursuant to sections 146 and 155 of the Education Act 1989, I hereby give the following notice.
Notice
-
This notice may be cited as Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Ngāringaomatariki establishment.
-
This notice shall come into force the day after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

I hereby establish in the Kaipara District of Northland, a Year 1–8 full primary school called Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Ngāringaomatariki and designate the school as a Kura Kaupapa Māori.

The school will operate in accordance with Te Aho Matua.

The special characteristics of Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Ngāringaomatariki are:
The whānau of Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Ngāringaomatariki commit totally to the guiding principles outlined in Te Aho Matua that:
- the paramount purpose of Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Ngāringaomatariki is to meet the needs of tamariki and their learning;
- all tamariki enjoy an education that respects their Tino Rangatiratanga, dignity, rights and individuality;
- the whānau undertake to educate their tamariki through Te Reo Māori total immersion as a medium of instruction;
- tamariki develop sensitivity and respect for others;
- and this education challenges them to reach their full potential in the pursuit of excellence.
Constitution of the Establishment Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees of Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Ngāringaomatariki shall comprise:
(a) five people appointed by the Minister of Education;
(b) the principal or principal designate; and
(c) not more than four people co-opted by the Board. -
Following the board’s first elections held on a day fixed by the Minister, in accordance with section 101(7) of the Education Act 1989, the constitution of the Board of Trustees of Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Ngāringaomatariki shall be as specified in section 94 of the Education Act 1989.
