Only competing skiffs, vessels used by the umpires and course marshals, emergency vessels and vessels accredited by the event organisers will be able to enter the general designated area during the period to which the application applies.
Hours of Operation
The declaration will apply 24 hours per day for the entire period from 30 October 2010 to 7 November 2010 inclusive.
Means of Enforcement
Compliance with the above conditions and requirements will be enforced by appointed enforcement officers, as defined in section 200B(6) of the Maritime Transport Act 1994.
Under section 200B(5) of the Maritime Transport Act 1994, any person who contravenes this notice commits an offence and is liable to the relevant penalty prescribed in the Maritime Transport (Infringement Fees for Offences Relating to Major Maritime Events) Regulations 1999.
Application to Enforcement Officers
Enforcement officers are exempt from the rules or conditions contained in this notice where necessary to execute their duties, but must at all times navigate in accordance with Maritime Rule Part 22: Collision Prevention.
I make this declaration in accordance with the requirements set out in section 200A(3) of the Maritime Transport Act 1994.

Pursuant to section 160(3) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, I, Jane Katharine Meares, Treasury Solicitor, hereby give notice that on 22 July 2010, John Henry Whitehead, Secretary to the Treasury, and Karen Sewell, Secretary for Education, gave approval under section 160(1)(b) of the Crown Entities Act 2004, in relation to section 161 of that Act, for the Rakaia School Board of Trustees to acquire shares in the Ashburton Trading Society up to an aggregate maximum value of $500.00. This approval applies on and from 22 July 2010.
