Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Under section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Wellington Regional Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it, resolved on 30 March 2010 that the land held by the council in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto shall be and is hereby declared to be a scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section 19(1)(a) of the Act.

Revocation of a Notice and Issue of a Fresh Notice

Under section 6(3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and by reason of an error made in the notice described subsequently the Community Relations Manager for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the notice headed Classification of Reserve and Vesting of the Reserve in the Queenstown Lakes District Council dated the 17th day of December 2007 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 31 January 2008, No. 14, page 363, and issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.

Classification of a Reserve and Vesting of the Reserve in the Queenstown Lakes District Council

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a recreation reserve and vests the reserve in the Queenstown Lakes District Council in trust for that purpose.
