Reserves Act 1977
Classification of Reserves
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Support Manager for the Whanganui Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserves described in the First Schedule as scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section 19(1)(a) of the Act, and classifies the reserve described in the Second Schedule as local purpose (plantation and landscape protection) reserve and further, classifies the reserve described in the Third Schedule as recreation reserve.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How to Utilise Proceeds of Sale
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Acting Conservation Support Manager for the Waikato Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the land described in the Schedule and declares that the land may be disposed of by the South Waikato District Council at current market value, the proceeds of such sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

Revocation of a Notice Relating to a Reserve and Issue of a Fresh Notice
Under section 6(3) of the Reserves Act 1977, and by reason of an error made in the notice described subsequently, the Conservation Support Manager revokes the notice headed Classification of a Reserve and Declaration That the Reserve Form Part of the Mangorewa Scenic Reserve, dated the 29th day of July 2010 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 5 August 2010, No. 95, page 2533, and issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.
Classification of a Reserve and Declaration That the Reserve Form Part of the Mangorewa Scenic Reserve
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Support Manager for the East Coast Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section 19(1)(a) of the Act and declares that the reserve shall form part of the Mangorewa Scenic Reserve.
