Reappointments of Temporary Safeguard Authorities
Pursuant to section 3(1) of the Temporary Safeguard Authorities Act 1987, the Minister of Commerce has been pleased to reappoint as Temporary Safeguard Authorities
William Neil Plimmer, of Wellington
John Thomas Ellis Gilbert, of Wellington
for a period of three years commencing on 11 June 2009 until 10 June 2012, or until proposed new legislation takes effect, which corresponds to or replaces the Temporary Safeguard Authorities Act 1987.

Education Act 1989
New School Establishment
Pursuant to section 146 of the Education Act 1989, I hereby establish a co-educational school for Years 7–13, to be known as
Papamoa College
at Tara Road, Papamoa, Tauranga.
The school will open for instruction for Year 7–9 students only in term one, 2011, with Years 10–13 being added progressively in each of the four subsequent years as follows:
- For the year 2011, the school will enrol Year 7–9 students.
- As from 2012, the school will enrol Year 7–10 students.
- As from 2013, the school will enrol Year 7–11 students.
- As from 2014, the school will enrol Year 7–12 students.
- As from 2015, the school will enrol Year 7–13 students.

Establishment of Amesbury Drive School in Churton Park, Wellington
Pursuant to section 146 of the Education Act 1989, I hereby declare that a new Year 1–6 Contributing Primary School will be established in Amesbury Drive, Churton Park, Wellington.
The school will open for instruction in term one, 2012.

Papamoa East Primary School
at Golden Sands Drive, Papamoa, Tauranga.
The school will open for instruction for Year 1–4 students only in term one, 2011, with Years 5 and 6 being added progressively in each of the two subsequent years as follows:
- For the year 2011, the school will enrol Year 1–4 students.
- As from 2012, the school will enrol Year 1–5 students.
- As from 2013, the school will enrol Year 1–6 students.

Education (Early Childhood Centres)
Regulations 1998
Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre
Pursuant to Regulation 12(1)(d)(i) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education,
I hereby cancel the licence dated 29 July 2008, which was granted under those Regulations to Haimoana Manuera in respect of Ngati Ruanui Te Kohanga Reo (52770), situated at 63 Union Street, Hawera.
This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
