Reserves Act 1977

Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes, Declaring a Conservation Area to be a Classified Reserve, and Appointment to Control and Manage

Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Conservator of the Nelson/Marlborough Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, declares that the lands described in the Schedule are held for conservation purposes and further declares that the conservation areas described in the Schedule shall be set apart as reserves, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and classified as recreation reserves subject to the provisions of the latter Act, and further, under the Reserves Act 1977, appoints existing Kaiteriteri Recreation Reserve Board (as published in the New Zealand Gazette, 24 February 2005, No. 41, page 1067) to control and manage the reserve for recreation purposes.

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for road and shall vest in the Rotorua District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Land Declared Road, Road Stopped and Set Apart for Use in Connection With a Road, and Road Stopped and Set Apart for Use in Connection With a Road (Segregation Strip)—State Highway 1, Wellington Inner—City Bypass, Abel Smith Street to Buller Street, Wellington City

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 88(2) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall remain vested in the Crown;

(b) Pursuant to section 116, declares the portions of road adjoining or passing through the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 52, to be set apart for use in connection with a road and shall vest in the Wellington City Council;

(c) Pursuant to section 116, declares the portions of road adjoining or passing through the land described in the Third Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 52, to be set apart for use in connection with a road (segregation strip) and shall vest in the Wellington City Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
