Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996
Call for Submissions—ERMA New Zealand Fees and Charges Review
The Environmental Risk Management Authority (ERMA
New Zealand) is considering implementing changes to its
current Fees and Charges Schedule.
Notice of the proposed changes is given pursuant to section
21 of the Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act
1996.
The proposals include a mixture of increases and reductions
in fees.
Your feedback is important and the proposed fee changes
will not be determined until all submissions are considered.
Submissions open on Thursday, 16 April 2009 and close
on Thursday, 28 May 2009.
Any changes would take effect on 1 July 2009.
The proposed Fees and Charges Schedule and associated
information can be found on the ERMA New Zealand
website

Conservation Act 1987
Authorisation of the Exchange of Conservation Area for Other Land
Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Community Relations
Manager for the Southland Conservancy of the Department
of Conservation authorises the exchange of the conservation
area described in the First Schedule for the land described in
the Second Schedule and further specifies that the land held
in the latter Schedule be held for conservation purposes.
