Notification of the Commerce Commission’s Draft Cost Calculation Determination for the Telecommunications Service Obligation Instrument for the Local Residential Telephone Service for the Period 1 July 2008 to 30 June 2009

On 4 December 2009, the Commerce Commission (“Commission”) released its Draft Cost Calculation Determination for the Telecommunications Service Obligation Instrument for Local Residential Service (“TSO Instrument”) for the period 1 July 2008 to 30 June 2009.

The Commission, acting pursuant to section 92(a) of the Telecommunications Act 2001 (“the Act”), prepared the draft determination in respect of the matters set out in section 93A of the Act for the TSO Instrument.

Pursuant to section 92(b) of the Act, the Commission gives public notice of its draft determination.
