Pursuant to sections 128 and 129 of the Sentencing Act 2002, orders were made in the Taupo District Court on 7 December 2009, for the confiscation of the following motor vehicles:

Notice that the Minister of Labour has approved amendments to a Code of Practice pursuant to section 20(1)(a) of the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992.

The third edition of the Approved Code of Practice for Cranes sets out a statement of preferred work practices or arrangements for the designers, manufacturers, suppliers, operators, maintainers and inspectors of cranes.

The Department of Labour has consulted widely with members of the crane industry and the public to prepare the amendments to the approved code.

The approved code is available for downloading at

www.osh.dol.govt.nz

The commencement date for this Approved Code of Practice is 7 January 2010.

Pursuant to section 22(3)(b) of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997 (“the Act”), the Director-General of the New Zealand Food Safety Authority gives notice that the following trade name product was removed from the Register:

Pursuant to section 22(3)(c) of the Act, the product may continue to be sold and used (but not manufactured) until 2 December 2010.
