Reserves Act 1977
Revocation of a Notice and Issue of a Fresh Notice
Under section 6(3) of the Reserves Act 1977 and by reason of an error made in the notice described subsequently, the Conservator for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the notice headed Reservation of Land dated the 19th day of August 2009 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 27 August 2009, No. 128, page 2984, and issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.
Reservation of Land
Under the Land Act 1948, the Conservator for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation sets apart the land described in the Schedule as a recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of section 17 of the Reserves Act 1977.

Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993
Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338(2) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart to be included in the Māori reservation known as Matihetihe 1A (Matihetihe Marae) for the purpose of a meeting place and recreation ground for the common use and benefit of the Ngapuhi tribe set apart by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 16 July 1964, No. 43, page 1139.

Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338(2) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be included in the existing Māori reservation in respect of the land known as Tauhara Middle No. 4A No. 2A (Tauhara Mountain) which was set apart by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 13 May 1971, No. 34, page 913, and had its purpose redefined by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 14 July 1977, No. 75, page 1956, to be an ancient burial ground, place of historical interest and scenic beauty for the common use and benefit of Tutemahuta, Tutetawha, Hineuru, Hinerau and Rahotu hapu of Tuwharetoa.
