Reserves Act 1977

Change of Classification of Part of a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation changes the classification of that part of the reserve described in the Schedule from a recreation reserve to a local purpose (water supply) reserve, subject to the provisions of the Act.

Declaring General Land to be Included in a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 338(2) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be included in the existing Māori reservation in respect of the land known as Part Section 5 Block II Puketi Survey District (the same being more particularly shown on a plan held by the Māori Land Court at Whanganui) being part of the land contained in Computer Freehold Register WN12D/984 which was set apart for the purposes of an urupā for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Alfred Rangikatea Mohi and Ngapera Lily Victoria Mohi by notice published in the New Zealand Gazette, 22 August 1985, No. 155, page 3627.
