Sheffield Fire District Notice, October 2009
Under section 26 of the Fire Service Act 1975, the New Zealand Fire Service Commission hereby gives the following notice.

This notice is the Sheffield Fire District Notice, October 2009.

This notice comes into force on the day of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

This notice revokes and is in substitution for all previous fire district notices for Sheffield Fire District.
Constitution of a Fire District
-
The urban areas of Sheffield are hereby constituted as a Fire District.
-
The Fire District is assigned the name “Sheffield Fire District”.
-
The boundary of the Fire District is defined and delineated on a plan held at the National Headquarters, New Zealand Fire Service, Wellington.

Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2003
New Zealand Transport Agency (Maximum Speeds of Vehicles on State Highways) Amendment Bylaw 2009/17
Pursuant to section 61(3) of the Government Roading Powers Act 1989, and the Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2003, the New Zealand Transport Agency hereby makes the following bylaw.
Bylaw

Title and commencement—This bylaw may be cited as the New Zealand Transport Agency (Maximum Speeds of Vehicles on State Highways) Amendment Bylaw 2009/17 and will come into force 28 days after the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Amendments—The New Zealand Transport Agency (Maximum Speeds of Vehicles on State Highways) Bylaw 2005/7* is hereby amended by:
(a) Adding the following paragraph to Schedule 1, Part C:
“(d) The section of State Highway No.1 (Great South Road) in Ngaruawahia, from a point 115 metres north-west of Ellery Street to 20 metres south-east of Belt Street: a distance of approximately 480 metres.”
(b) Amending line 111 in Schedule 3 to read:
“Line No.: 111

Distance from nearest Road/Feature: 70 metres north-east of River Road to 115 metres north-west of Ellery Street.
