Telecommunications Act 2001
Notification of the Commerce Commission’s Final Cost Calculation Determination for the Telecommunications Service Obligation Instrument for Telecom’s Local Residential Telephone Service for the Period Between 1 July 2006 and 30 June 2007
On 7 October 2009, the Commerce Commission (“the Commission”) released its Final Cost Calculation Determination for the Telecommunications Service Obligation (“TSO”) Instrument for local residential telephone service for the period between 1 July 2006 and 30 June 2007. The local residential telephone service is supplied by Telecom New Zealand Limited and Telecom Corporation of New Zealand Limited (“Telecom”).
The Commission, acting pursuant to section 90(a) of the Telecommunications Act 2001 (“the Act”), made the final cost calculation determination in respect of the matters set out in section 93E of the Act for the TSO instrument for Telecom’s local residential telephone service.
Pursuant to section 93C of the Act, the Commission gives public notice of this matter in the New Zealand Gazette.
