Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Support Manager for the Wellington Hawke’s Bay Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the land described in Schedule.

Declaring Land to be Recreation Reserve
Pursuant to section 14(1) of the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, Porirua City Council hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be recreation reserve and that the land shall be held and administered by the council for the purposes and in the manner specified in section 17 of the Reserves Act 1977.

A Proclamation
I, The Honourable Sir Anand Satyanand, Governor-General of New Zealand, pursuant to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, hereby revoke the Proclamation made on the 20th day of October 1959, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 5 November 1959, No. 68, page 1590, and declare that this Proclamation shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
