Reserves Act 1977

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Taupo District Council notifies that the following resolution was passed by the said council on 28 July 2009:

“That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Taupo District Council hereby resolves that the pieces of land held by the said District in fee simple and described in the schedule hereto shall be, and the same are hereby declared to be, reserves for recreation purposes within the meaning of the said Act.”

Revocation of the Appointment to Control and Manage a Reserve, and Appointment of the Napier South Community Trust to Control and Manage a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator for the Wellington Hawke’s Bay Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the appointment of the Hawke’s Bay Montessori Education Trust Incorporated to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule, and appoints the Napier South Community Trust to control and manage the said reserve as a local purpose (community buildings) reserve.
