Pursuant to sections 128 and 129 of the Sentencing Act 2002, an order was made in the Hastings District Court on 15 July 2009, for the confiscation of the following motor vehicle:
1992 Mazda Familia, Registration No. WL2585.
Against: Lemalie Lemalie.
Anyone who has a legal interest in this vehicle should contact the Court urgently (telephone (06) 974 6032) as the Registrar may sell the vehicle.
This notice is placed pursuant to the Sentencing Regulations 2002.

Pursuant to section 14(1) of the Agricultural Compounds and Veterinary Medicines Act 1997 (“the Act”), the Director-General of the New Zealand Food Safety Authority gives notice that the following application has been made to register a trade name product under section 9(1) of the Act:

Active Ingredient and Concentration: Mycobacterium paratuberculosis 2.5g/L
Formulation Type: Oily solution or suspension
General Use Claim: As an aid in the control of Johnes Disease (JD or Paratuberculosis) in cattle and deer, via active immunisation against Mycobacterium paratuberculosis.
Any person may make a written submission to the director-general concerning this application.
Under sections 16 and 17 of the Act, a written submission:
(a) must state in full the reasons for making the submission; and
(b) may state any decision sought on that application; and
(c) must be received by the director-general no later than 30 working days after the date of notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
Under section 18 of the Act, a copy of every submission will be forwarded to the applicant for the applicant’s information.

General Use Claim: For the treatment and control of a broad range of susceptible adult and immature (L4) gastrointestinal nematodes of sheep, including those resistant to macrocyclic lactones (ML), levamisole/morantel (clear), benzimidazoles (white) and closantel based drenches, and combinations of these. For the treatment and control of lungworm, nasal bot and itch mite.
