Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998

Cancellation of Licence for an Early Childhood Centre

Pursuant to Regulation 12(1)(d)(i) of the Education (Early Childhood Centres) Regulations 1998, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 5 June 2008, which was granted under those Regulations to Holly Cuthbert in respect of Baby Pulse (80041), situated at 2 Memorial Street, Fernhill, Queenstown.

This cancellation also has the effect of cancelling any provisional licence issued to this service.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Education (Early Childhood Services) Regulations 2008

Licensing Criteria for Early Childhood Education and Care Services Notice 2009

Pursuant to Regulation 41(3) of the Education (Early Childhood Services) Regulations 2008, I notify that the Licensing Criteria for Early Childhood Education and Care Centres 2008; and Licensing Criteria for Home-based Education and Care Services 2008 notified in the New Zealand Gazette, 24 July 2008, No. 116, page 3074, were amended on 22 June 2009 and 10 July 2009.

The amended criteria have been prescribed by the Minister of Education in accordance with Regulation 41(1) of the Education (Early Childhood Services) Regulations 2008 for the purpose of assessing compliance with the minimum standards set out in the above-mentioned Regulations.

Pursuant to Regulation 32(1)(d)(i) of the Education (Early Childhood Services) Regulations 2008, and acting under authority delegated by the Secretary for Education, I hereby cancel the licence dated 6 April 2009, which was granted under those Regulations to Catherine Dorothy Reweti in respect of In Home Edu-care (60119), situated at 31 Lynda Avenue, Paparangi, Wellington.

This notice shall take effect the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

Supplementary Integration Agreements

Pursuant to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that two supplementary integration agreements have been signed between the Minister of Education on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen, acting through the Group Manager, Schools and Student Support, Ministry of Education, pursuant to delegated authority, and the proprietor of the following school:

St Mary’s Catholic School, Tauranga.

The said supplementary integration agreements were executed on 20 August 2009.

Copies of the supplementary integration agreements are available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the local office of the Ministry of Education, Level 4, 1144 Pukaki Street, Rotorua.
