Crown Minerals Act 1991

Notice of Date Extension for the Offshore Northland Block Offer

Pursuant to section 24 of the Crown Minerals Act 1991, the Minister of Energy and Resources advises that the closing date for receipt of bids for petroleum exploration permits in New Zealand’s Offshore Northland Basin has been extended from 28 January 2010* to 18 August 2010.

Data Packs containing geological reports, seismic and other data are available free of charge. Additional seismic data will be made available towards the end of 2009.

Before preparing and submitting a bid, bidders are encouraged to familiarise themselves with New Zealand’s legislation, regulation and policy for the allocation and administration of petroleum permits, contained primarily in the Crown Minerals Act 1991, the Crown Minerals (Petroleum) Regulations 2007 and the Minerals Programme for Petroleum 2005.

Amendment of Resource Management (Approval of Broadcast Communications Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 1996

Pursuant to section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991 and section 15 of the Interpretation Act 1999, the Minister for the Environment hereby gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Amendment of Resource Management (Approval of Broadcast Communications Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 1996.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of publication.

2. Change of name of requiring authority—The notice entitled The Resource Management (Approval of Broadcast Communications Limited as Requiring Authority) Notice 1996, dated the 2nd day of December 1996 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 12 December 1996, No. 180, page 4726, is hereby amended as follows:

The name "Broadcast Communications Limited" is changed to "Kordia Limited".

Amendment of Resource Management (Approval of Broadcast Communications Limited as Requiring Authority) Order 1992

Pursuant to section 167 of the Resource Management Act 1991 and section 15 of the Interpretation Act 1999, the Minister for the Environment hereby gives the following notice.

Notice

1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Amendment of Resource Management (Approval of Broadcast Communications Limited as Requiring Authority) Order 1992.

(2) This notice shall come into force on the day after the date of publication.

2. Change of name of requiring authority—The order entitled The Resource Management (Approval of Broadcast Communications Limited as Requiring Authority) Order 1992, dated the 21st day of December 1992 and notified in the New Zealand Gazette, 23 December 1992, No. 208, page 4653, is hereby amended as follows:

The name "Broadcast Communications Limited" is changed to "Kordia Limited".

Amendment to Notice of Appointment of Commissioner for Richmond School (Christchurch) (3486)

Pursuant to section 78N(2) of the Education Act 1989, I hereby amend the notice of appointment of a commissioner for Richmond School (Christchurch) (as published in the Supplement to the New Zealand Gazette, 19 December 2008, No. 196, page 5195), and appoint Denis Cocks as commissioner.

All functions, powers and duties of the board of Richmond School (Christchurch) are vested in the commissioner.

This notice takes effect the day after the date of publication.
