Take notice that I, John Henry Whitehead, Secretary to the Treasury, pursuant to section 338 of the Companies Act 1955, hereby disclaim for and on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen, the reversionary interests of Her Majesty The Queen in the freehold interests contained in Computer Freehold Registers TNB3/652, TNB3/653, TNH3/927, TNH3/932 and TNH/935 with the registered proprietor of those interests being ESCADA ENTERPRISES LIMITED, a company removed from the Companies Register on 13 May 1994.

Notice of Recommendation Concerning the Electricity Governance Rules 2003—Rule Amendment Proposal No. 138, 2008

  1. This notice of a recommendation concerning the Electricity Governance Rules 2003 (“Rules”), Rule Amendment Proposal No. 138, 2008 is issued by the Electricity Commission (“Commission”) pursuant to section 172E(2)(c) of the Electricity Act 1992 (“Act”).

  2. The Act provides that, no later than 10 working days after making a recommendation to the Minister of Energy concerning the Rules, the Commission must publicise the recommendation.

Recommended Amendments to the Rules

  1. On 22 January 2009, the Commission recommended that changes be made to Rule 3 of Schedule G6 of Part G of the Rules.

  2. The recommended rule amendments are to allow for the system operator’s scheduling, pricing and dispatch software that will be upgraded as part of the market systems project to be compliant with the Rules regarding the forming of constraints.

  3. Section 172F(3) of the Act provides that the Commission is not required to comply with section 172F(1) (relating to making an assessment) if it is satisfied that the recommendation will have only minor effects and will not adversely affect the interests of any person in a substantial way. In reliance on section 172F(3), no such assessment has been carried out.
