Classification of Reserve
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator for the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a Government purpose (fire centre and emergency services) reserve.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Reserves
Including the Manner of Disposal and How to Utilise Proceeds of Sale
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Support Manager for the Wanganui Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the reservation as local purpose reserves over the lands described in the Schedule, with effect that the lands may be disposed of by the Palmerston North City Council in such manner, at a price and on terms and conditions as the council determines, the proceeds from a sale to be paid into the council’s reserves account, such money to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

Exchange of Reserves for Other Land
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, authorises the exchange of the gravel and plantation reserves described in the First Schedule for the part freehold land described in the Second Schedule.
