Amendment to Transit New Zealand Bylaw 2005/7*

Maximum Speeds of Vehicles on State Highways

Pursuant to section 61(3) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989 and clause 2.6 of the Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2003 (Rule 54001), Transit New Zealand hereby amends the following bylaw.

Amendments

1. These amendments shall come into force 28 days after publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

2. The Transit New Zealand (Maximum Speeds of Vehicles on State Highways) Bylaw 2005/7* is hereby amended by:

   (a) Inserting a new line 71(a) in Schedule 3 to read:

   "Transit NZ Region: 2
   SH No.: 1 Northern Busway
   Locality: Constellation Bus Station
   From (RP): 414/0.038 To (RP): 414/0.429
   Distance from nearest Road/Feature:
   From Constellation Drive to 52m south of the centreline of Sunset Road.
   Speed Restriction (km/h): 50
   New Zealand Gazette Reference: 05/06/2008, No 95, p2521"

   (b) Inserting a new line 71(b) in Schedule 3 to read:

   "Transit NZ Region: 2
   SH No.: 1 Northern Busway
   Locality: Constellation to Sunnynook
   From (RP): 414/0.429 To (RP): 414/1.426
   Distance from nearest Road/Feature:
   From 52m south of the centreline of Sunset Road to 240m north of the centreline of Sunnynook Road.
   Speed Restriction (km/h): 80

   (c) Inserting a new line 71(c) in Schedule 3 to read:
