Declaration That Land is a Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Conservator, Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Waimakariri District Council on 6 May 2008:
“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Waimakariri District Council hereby resolves that the piece of land, held by the said Council in fee simple and, described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby, declared a Local Purpose Reserve within the meaning of the said Act, and further declares the said land to be classified as a reserve for community use purposes, subject to the provisions of the said Act”.

Setting Apart Māori Freehold Land as a Māori Reservation
Pursuant to section 338 of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a landing and conservation reservation for the common use and benefit of Ngāti Rangiteaorere hapū.

All that piece of land situated in the Māori freehold land known as Anglican Church Missionary Society Block (Part) and described as follows:

Pursuant to section 338 of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993, on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Māori reservation for the purpose of a conservation reservation for the common use and benefit of Ngāti Rangiteaorere hapū.
