Declaration of Renaming of Reserve

Under section 16(10) of the Reserves Act 1977, the South
Wairarapa District Council resolved on 20 December 2007
to declare the parcel of reserve land held in fee simple by
the council and described in the Schedule to this notice to
be given the new name of Otauira Reserve (formerly Lake
Wairarapa Lookout).

Manager for the West Coast Conservancy of the Department
of Conservation hereby classifies the reserve described

Scenic Reserve.

Change of Purpose of Reserve and Declaration
That the Reserve Form Part of the Bream Head
Scenic Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator for the
Northland Conservancy, Department of Conservation,
hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described in the
Schedule from scenic reserve for the purposes specified in
section 19(1)(b) of the Act, to a scenic reserve for the
purposes specified in section 19(1)(a) of the Act, and
declares that the reserve form part of the Bream Head
Scenic Reserve.

Classification and Naming of Part of a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations
Manager for the West Coast Conservancy of the Department
of Conservation hereby classifies the reserve described in the
Schedule as a government purpose (wildlife management)
reserve and declares that the reserve be known as the
Birchfield/Kuneoteraki Wildlife Management Reserve.
