Identification of the Industry Training Federation
as an Organisation for the Purpose of Part 13A of
the Education Act 1989

Pursuant to section 159B(2) of the Education Act 1989, the
Minister for Tertiary Education gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. This notice may be cited as the Education (Identification
    of the Industry Training Federation as an organisation)
    Notice 2008.

  2. This notice applies from the date of its publication.

  3. For the purpose of Part 13A of the Education Act 1989,
    the Minister for Tertiary Education identifies the following
    body as an organisation:

Industry Training Federation

As a body that provides tertiary education-related services
and is identified as an organisation pursuant to section
159B(2) of the Education Act 1989, the Industry Training
Federation is now deemed to be an organisation within the
meaning of section 159B(1)(c) of the Education Act 1989.

Civil Aviation Act 1990

Notice of Direction to Require Screening and
Reasonable Searches

Pursuant to section 77B(1) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990,
I, Steve Douglas, Director of Civil Aviation, hereby direct
that the Aviation Security Service shall screen and undertake
reasonable searches of any:

(a) Person, item, substance or vehicle:

(i) before they enter a security enhanced area; or

(ii) present within a security enhanced area.

(b) Unattended item, substance or vehicle in a security
enhanced area, for the items and substances listed in
the Schedule annexed to this Direction.

This Direction shall take effect on 31 March 2008 and
may be viewed on the CAA website

Regulations 2003, the Electricity Commission
("Commission") gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Title and commencement—(1) This notice is the
    Electricity Governance Regulations (Exemption No. 3
    (Norske Skog Tasman Limited)) Exemption Amendment
    Notice 2008.

(2) In this notice, the Electricity Governance Regulations
(Exemption No. 3 (Norske Skog Tasman Limited))
Exemption Notice 2004 is called the "principal notice".

(3) This notice comes into force on 31 March 2008.

  1. Amendment to principal notice—(1) The principal
    notice provides an exemption from the requirement to
    comply with Rules 6.1, 6.4, and 6.5 of Technical Code B of
    Schedule C3 of Part C of the Electricity Governance Rules
    2003 ("Rules").
