Road Realignment—State Highway 1, Mercer–Long Swamp, Meremere, Waikato District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 88(2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, becomes road, limited access road and State highway and shall vest in the Crown;

(b) Pursuant to section 52, declares the land described in the Second Schedule of this notice is to be set apart for use in connection with a road (segregation strip) and shall remain vested in the Crown

on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Road to be Stopped—Arapuni Power Station, South Waikato District

Pursuant to section 116 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand, declares the portion of road described in the Schedule to this notice to be stopped and further declares, pursuant to section 117(7), shall be added to the adjoining land held for a public work (“waterpower development”, New Zealand Gazette, 31 July 2003, No. 89, page 2294) and shall vest in the Crown on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
