The Sports Anti-Doping Rules (2009) come into force on 1 January 2009.

The Authorised Futures Dealers Notice (No. 3) 2005 Amendment Notice (No. 2) 2008

Pursuant to section 38 of the Securities Markets Act 1988, the Securities Commission gives the following notice.

Notice

Clause 1. Title, commencement and principal notice—

(1) This notice is the Authorised Futures Dealers Notice (No. 3) 2005 Amendment Notice (No. 2) 2008.

(2) This notice comes into force on the day after the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

(3) This notice amends the Authorised Futures Dealers Notice (No. 3) 2005.

Clause 2. Renewal of principal notice—

(1) Clause 1(3) of the Authorised Futures Dealers Notice (No. 3) 2005 is amended by omitting "2008" and substituting "2009".

Tertiary Education

Industry Training Act 1992

Apparel and Textile Industry Training Organisation Incorporated

Pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, the Apparel and Textile Industry Training Organisation Incorporated has been granted re-recognition for a period of five years, with effect from 25 September 2008, to set standards at Levels 1 to 8 on the National Qualifications Framework for the woolscouring, yarn making, dyeing and finishing (bulk products/finished material/garments), carpets, knitting and hosiery (continuous fabric/garments), dry cleaning and laundry, apparel manufacture including embroidery and sewn products, and the footwear manufacturing industries.

NZ Motor Industry Training Organisation (Incorporated)

Pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, the NZ Motor Industry Training Organisation (Incorporated) has been granted re-recognition for a period of five years, with effect from 20 October 2008 to 20 October 2013, to set standards at Levels 1 to 8 on the National Qualifications Framework for the motor and industrial textile fabrication industries.

Pursuant to section 5 of the Industry Training Act 1992, the New Zealand Horticulture Industry Training Organisation Incorporated has been granted re-recognition for a period of five years with effect from 25 September 2008, to set standards at Levels 1 to 8 on the National Qualifications Framework for the horticulture and florist industries.

New Zealand Journalists Training Organisation Incorporated

Pursuant to section 9(3)(a) of the Industry Training Act 1992, the New Zealand Journalists Training Organisation Incorporated’s recognition as an industry training organisation to set standards at Levels 1 to 8 on the National Qualifications Framework for the news and feature reporting industry (including print, radio and television) has been cancelled, with effect from 25 September 2008.

Following the cancellation of recognition, the New Zealand Journalists Training Organisation Incorporated industry coverage will be transferred to the Printing and Allied Industries Training Council Incorporated, with effect from 1 October 2008.
