Marine Mammals Protection Act 1978

Application to Export Marine Mammals

Pursuant to section 5(5) of the Marine Mammals Protection Act 1978, the Minister of Conservation notifies that an application was received from John Riseborough on 30 October 2008 to:

• export a sperm whale tooth (acquired in 1946) to Australia for the purpose of private use.
