in a general south-westerly direction to Wallace Trig Featherston at Grid Reference NZMS 260-S27:034099, then
north-west in a direct line to Saddle Trig (Akatarawa Saddle) at Grid Reference NZMS 260-R26:875264. From Saddle Trig
in a south-west direct line to the Paekakariki Hill Road at Grid Reference NZMS 260-R26:732166. Following the
Paekakariki Hill Road south to Pauatahanui. From Pauatahanui following State Highway 58 west to the intersection with
State Highway 1. Following State Highway 1 south to Ngauranga. From Ngauranga following the coastline and State
Highway 2 to the Petone foreshore. From the Petone foreshore east following the coastline to Pencarrow Head, to Turakirae
Head, to Cape Palliser, to Castlepoint to the Owahanga River mouth.
Tasman/West Coast
All land enclosed by the following peripheral line:
From the mouth of the Motueka River, upstream along the true left of the Motueka River to a point where the Motueka
West Bank Road meets the Motueka River, then west to Hailes Knob. Then north-west to Parapara Peak in Golden Bay,
then south-west to Mt Olympus, then west to Mt Perry, then north-west to Percy Peak. Then along the high points of the
Wakamarama Range to Mt Stevens, Mt Higgins, to Mt Haidinger in the Burnett Range, to Mt Burnett. Then south to
the bridge over Gorge Creek on the Collingwood Puponga Main Road, then downstream along the left bank of Gorge
Creek to Ruataniwha Inlet on the Golden Bay coast, and then along the coastline around Farewell Spit to Three Mile
Lagoon on the Tasman Sea. Then in a direct line east to the western side of Lake Wahapo where it gives rise to the Okarito
River, then in a direct line south-east to Mt Loughnan on the Main Divide. Then up the Main Divide to Mt Barron, then
along the high points west to Mt Novaro and on to Mt Hochstetter and the Nancy-Tass Saddle. Then north-west to
Mt Rameses and on to Mt Harata. Then north-east to Mt Gore, then south-east to Mt Puttick, then north-east to Mt Haast.
Then east to the Rahu Saddle on the Reefton/Springs Junction Highway. Then north to Creighton Peak in the Victoria
Range and on to Mt Victoria. Then north and north-east along the high points to Mt Pelion, Mt Wynn, Mt Curtis to
Boundary Peak. Then north-east along the high points to the junction of Little Deepdale Creek and the Buller River. Then
upstream of the Buller River to the junction of the Buller and Hope Rivers at Kawatiri Junction. Then north-east to the
Hope Saddle. Then north-east and north along the high points of the Pinchback Range to the beaconed trig on Kohatu
(643m) then north-east to the Motueka River. Then downstream of the Motueka River to the Tapawera-Glenhope bridge,
then east along the centre of the Tapawera-Glenhope Road to the intersection with State Highway 61 at Tapawera. Then
north to the bridge over the Stanley Brook on the Upper Stanley Brook Road, then north-east to the Cowin Bridge over the
Dove River at Thorpe on the Thorpe-Dovedale Road, then north-east to the Rosedale Saddle on Rosedale Road. Then north
to the intersection of Central and Holdaway Roads, then east along the centre of Holdaway Road to the footbridge over
the Moutere River. Then downstream of the Moutere River to the coast and then along the coast to the mouth of the
Motueka River.
Marlborough/North Canterbury
All land enclosed by the following peripheral line:
From the mouth of the Waima (Ure) River, up the true right bank of the Waima (Ure) River to Dunsandel Creek, then up
the true right bank of Dunsandel Creek to the most northern point of Peggioh Road, then west to the Rock, west to Peggioh,
north to Monument, north to Richmond Hill, north-west to Trig U, then south-west to the confluence of the left and right
branches of the Colonel Gully Stream. Down the true left bank of the Colonel Gully Stream to the confluence with the
Medway River, then down true left bank of Medway River to the confluence with the Awatere River. Down the true left
bank of the Awatere River to the confluence with the Blairich River, then up the true right bank of the Blairich River to
Blairich Pass, then west to Beehive Hut, then north-west to the confluence of Omaka River and Dillon Creek at Ramshead
Hut, then south-west to The Throne, then west to the junction of the Tummil and Avon Rivers, then west to the junction of
the Musgrave Brook and Waihopai River, then north-west to Mt Olympus, then north to Andersons Floodway and the right
bank of the Wairau River. Then up the true right bank of the Wairau River to a point directly opposite the Enchanted
Stream road bridge, then north-west to Old Man, west to Mt Rintoul, Purple Top, Bishops Cap, then south along the high
points to Bushy Top, then south-west along the high points to Red Hill, then south along the high points to Chrome, then
south-west to Beebys Knob. Then south along the high points to the St Arnaud Range, Mt McRae, Peanter Peak, The
Camel, Coterrell Peak, to Rainbow Pass, then south to Mt McKay, Belvedere Peak, Waiau Pass, to Mt Mahanga in
the Spenser Mountains. Then south along the high points to Mt Una, then south-east to the junction of Glacier Gully
and the Waiau River. Then down the Waiau River to its junction with the Henry River, then up the Henry River to the
Opera Range then south down the Opera Range to the Organ Range east of Glynn Wye, then south to the Hurunui River
east of Esk Head, then south-west to the Puketeraki Range, then south along the high points of the Puketeraki Range
to Black Hill, then south-east to Mt Oxford, then north-east to the confluence of the Townshend River and Ashley
River. Then down the true left bank of the Ashley River to the coast. Then up the coastline to the mouth of the Waima
(Ure) River.
Hakataramea Valley
All land enclosed by the following peripheral line:
From Grid Reference NZMS 260-I40:170989 true left bank Waitaki River opposite end of Little Roderick Road. Follow
Little Roderick Road north-east to its end then north-east to Peak 864m at Grid Reference NZMS 260-I40:194057 then
south-east to peak 1021m Mt Orr at Grid Reference NZMS 260-I40:221042 then north-east to peak 860m at Grid
Reference NZMS 260-I40:235051 and along the ridge of the Campbell Hills to peak 885m at Grid Reference NZMS
260-J40:306137 then north-east to south branch Waihao River. Follow the south branch upstream along the true right bank
to peak 1063m Mt Aitken at Grid Reference NZMS 260-J39:326223. Then north and north-east to the north branch Waihao
River. Follow the north branch upstream along the true right bank to peak 722m at Grid Reference NZMS 260-J39:306327
then north-east along the ridge to peak 1442m at Grid Reference NZMS 260-J39:324381. Then north-west along the ridge
