Land Acquired for Soil Conservation and River Control—Tukituki River, Hastings District

Pursuant to section 20(1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is acquired for soil conservation and river control and vested in the Hawke’s Bay Regional Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Road Realignment—State Highway 3, Okoki, New Plymouth District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 114, declares the land described in the First Schedule to this notice to be road which, pursuant to section 5 of the Land Transport Management Act 2003, forms part of State Highway 3 and vests the same in the Crown;

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portions of road described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120(3), amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register TNH1/289, subject to mortgage 5657774.3 on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Reserves Act 1977

Appointment of Trustee of the Christchurch Racecourse Recreation Reserve

Under section 70(2) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation appoints

Robert Arthur Shearing, of Christchurch

to be a trustee of the Christchurch Racecourse Recreation Reserve.

Revocation of a Notice Relating to a Reserve and Issue of Fresh Notice

Under the Reserves Act 1977, and by reason of an error made in the notice described subsequently, the Conservation Support Manager revokes the notice of Acquisition of Land and the Classification and Naming of the Makatiti Dome Scenic Reserve dated the 19th day of June 1991, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 27 June 1991, No. 96, page 2113, and issues the following notice as a fresh notice in its place.

Notice of Acquisition of Land and the Classification and Naming of a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Support Manager for the Bay of Plenty Conservancy of the Department of Conservation gives notice that an estate of leasehold in the land described in the Schedule has been acquired as a reserve for the term of the lease, expiring on 31 October 2070, and classifies the reserve as a scenic reserve for the purposes specified in section 19(1)(a) of the Act, and further declares that the reserve is to be known as the Makatiti Dome Scenic Reserve.
