Classification of Reserve and Declaration That the Reserve be Part of the Otatara Pa Historic Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Support Manager for the East Coast Hawke’s Bay Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve described in the Schedule as a historic reserve for the purposes specified in section 18(1) of the Act, and declares that it forms part of the Otatara Pa Historic Reserve.

Declaring State Forest to be a Recreation Reserve

Under section 5(1) of the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Conservation, with the consent of the Minister of Forestry, declares the State forest land in the Schedule to be a recreation reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977.
