Reserves Act 1977

Declaration That Former Warkworth Cement Works is a Historic Reserve and Recreation Reserve

Pursuant to section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, and to
a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Rodney
District Council hereby notifies that a resolution was
adopted by the Rodney District Council at its meeting on
13 December 2007 declaring the parcel of land described
in the First Schedule hereto as a historic reserve, subject to
the Reserves Act 1977, section 59 of the Land Act 1948
(affects part formerly Allotments 371 and 372, Parish of
Mahurangi), right of way for property maintenance purposes
only over part marked "G" on SO 379415 created by
easement instrument 6595452.8, and excepting thereout
from part formerly Allotment 70, Parish of Mahurangi, all
limestone, marl, clay, coal and other minerals, stone or earth
formations in, upon or under the said land and declaring the
parcel of land described in the Second Schedule hereto
as a recreation reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977,
section 59 of the Land Act 1948 (affects part formerly
Allotments 371 and 372, Parish of Mahurangi), subject to a
right of way, power and telephone transmission easements
over parts marked "A", "C", "D" and "E" on SO 379415
created by easement instrument 5501197.5, right of way for
property maintenance purposes only over parts marked "A",
"B", "E", "F" and "H" on SO 379415 created by easement
instrument 6595452.8, to a right in gross in favour of
Rodney District Council to take and convey water created
by easement instrument 7497203.1 and excepting thereout
from part formerly Allotments 69, 70 and 71, Parish of
Mahurangi, all limestone, marl, clay, coal and other minerals,
stone or earth formations in, upon or under the said land.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Queenstown Lakes District Council of Parts of a Reserve

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator for the Otago
Conservancy of the Department of Conservation cancels the
vesting in the Queenstown Lakes District Council over
the land described in the Schedule.

Classification of a Reserve and Vesting in the Queenstown Lakes District Council

Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator for the Otago
Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies
the reserve described in the Schedule as a recreation reserve
and further vests the reserve in the Queenstown Lakes
District Council in trust for that purpose.
