Declaring Land to be Held for Conservation Purposes

Under the Conservation Act 1987, the Community Relations Manager, West Coast Conservancy of the Department of Conservation, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule below is held for conservation purposes and it shall thereafter be so held.

Public Works Act 1981

Land Declared Road—Te Moana Road, Waikanae

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for road and vested in the Kapiti Coast District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.

Maori Affairs Act 1953

Declaring Māori Freehold Land to be Included in a Māori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439(2) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (repealed by section 338(2) of Te Ture Whenua Maori Act 1993), on the recommendation of the Māori Land Court dated the 5th day of November 1992, the Māori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto be set apart as a Māori reservation and be included in the Manukorihi A2 (Owae Marae) Māori reservation also known as Manukorihi Pa Reserves.

The purpose of the reservation is a meeting place and as a place of historic interest by notice dated the 20th day of September 1926 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 23 September 1926, No. 65, page 2795, and section 103 of the Maori Purposes Act 1931.

Coromandel Cemetery Extension—Buffalo Road, Thames-Coromandel District

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand:

(a) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for cemetery reserve, subject to the Reserves Act 1977, and shall vest in the Thames-Coromandel District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette;

(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portion of road described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be stopped and amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register SA69C/97; and

(c) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portion of road described in the Third Schedule to this notice to be stopped and amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register 426813.
