Road Realignment—Walters Road, Waipu
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand:
(a) Pursuant to section 20, declares that, agreements to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for road and vested in the Whangarei District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
(b) Pursuant to sections 116 and 117, declares the portions of road described in the Second and Third Schedules to this notice to be stopped and, pursuant to section 120(3):
(i) the areas described in the Second Schedule amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register NA935/85, subject to mortgage 6494315.6.
(ii) the area described in the Third Schedule amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register NA95C/947, subject to mortgage D337863.2.
(c) Declares the land described in the Fourth and Fifth Schedules to this notice to be taken, under section 119, and:
(i) the area described in the Fourth Schedule amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register NA935/85, subject to mortgage 6494315.6.
(ii) the area described in the Fifth Schedule amalgamated with the land in Computer Freehold Register NA95C/947, subject to mortgage D337863.2.

Classification of a Reserve and Appointment of the Rodney District Council to Control and Manage Two Reserves
Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservation Support Manager for the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation classifies the reserve as a recreation reserve described in the First Schedule and further appoints the Rodney District Council to manage the reserve described in the First Schedule as a recreation reserve and the reserve described in the Second Schedule as a historic reserve.
