Electricity Industry Reform Act 1998

Notice of Exemption—Stephen Reindler

The Commerce Commission (“Commission”), pursuant to section 81 of the Electricity Industry Reform Act 1998 (“the EIR Act”), exempts Stephen Reindler from compliance with section 17 of the EIR Act in respect of the cross-involvements (as that term is defined in the EIR Act) with Auckland International Airport Limited and Meridian Energy Limited that would be created through his appointment to the position of director of Meridian Energy Limited outlined in his application for exemption registered by the Commission on 2 July 2008.
