Public Works Act 1981

Mineral Estate to be Acquired—State Highway 1, Ohinewai, Waikato District

Pursuant to section 20(1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Stephen Robert Gilbert, Land Information New Zealand, declares:

(a) The mining rights created in deed of easement 194561 (R158/169) creating rights in all beds, veins and seams of coal and fireclay and other mines and minerals, such rights held in Computer Freehold Register SA369/216 (minerals only), over the land firstly described in the Schedule to this notice are acquired for road and shall vest in the Crown;

(b) The mining rights created in deed of easement 194561 (R158/169) creating rights in all beds, veins and seams of coal and fireclay and other mines and minerals, such rights held in Computer Freehold Register SA369/216 (minerals only) over the land secondly described in the Schedule to this notice are acquired for use in connection with a road (segregation strip), and shall vest in the Crown;

(c) The mining rights created in deed of easement 194561 (R158/169) creating rights in all beds, veins and seams of coal and fireclay and other mines and minerals, such rights held in Computer Freehold Register SA369/216 (minerals only), over the land thirdly described in the Schedule to this notice are acquired for road and shall vest in the Crown;

(d) The mining rights created in deed of easement 194561 (R158/169) creating rights in all beds, veins and seams of coal and fireclay and other mines and minerals, such rights held in Computer Freehold Register SA369/216 (minerals only) over the land fourthly described in the Schedule to this notice are acquired for use in connection with a road (segregation strip) and shall vest in the Crown;

(e) The mining rights created in transfer 144013 reserving the rights to all mines and minerals including the right to mine for, sink shafts, take, win, and carry away all coal, fireclay and other minerals whatsoever, such rights held in Computer Freehold Register 681/11 (minerals only), over the land fifthly described in the Schedule to this notice are acquired for road and shall vest in the Crown;

(f) The mining rights created in transfer 144013 reserving the rights to all mines and minerals including the right to mine for, sink shafts, take, win, and carry away all coal, fireclay and other minerals whatsoever, such rights held in Computer Freehold Register 681/11 (minerals only), over the land sixthly described in the Schedule to this notice are acquired for use in connection with a road (segregation strip) and shall vest in the Crown;

(g) The mining rights created in conveyance 278155 (R319/180) reserving all mines, beds, veins and seams of coal, fireclay and other minerals whatsoever, subject to the rights contained on conveyance 125549 (R45/665) reserving the rights to all coal and coal bearing strata, such rights held in Computer Freehold Register 557/5 (minerals only), over the land seventhly described in the Schedule to this notice are acquired for road and shall vest in the Crown;

(h) The mining rights created in conveyance 278155 (R319/180) reserving all mines, beds, veins and seams of coal, fireclay and other minerals whatsoever, subject to the rights contained on conveyance 125549 (R45/665) reserving the rights to all coal and coal bearing strata, such rights held in Computer Freehold Register 557/5 (minerals only), over the land eighthly described in the Schedule to this notice are acquired for use in connection with a road (segregation strip) and shall vest in the Crown;

(i) Conveyance 385589 (R537/521) and 249230 (R257/520) reserving the right to mine, for dig, win and carry away all coal and other minerals whatsoever, such rights held in Computer Freehold Register SA40C/873 over the land ninthly described in the Schedule to this notice are acquired for road and shall vest in the Crown;

(j) Conveyance 385589 (R537/521) and 249230 (R257/520) reserving the right to mine, for dig, win and carry away all coal and other minerals whatsoever, such rights held in Computer Freehold Register SA40C/873 over the land tenthly described in the Schedule to this notice are acquired for use in connection with a road (segregation strip) and shall vest in the Crown;

(k) The mining rights created in transfer 144013 reserving the rights to all mines and minerals including the right to mine for, sink shafts, take, win, and carry away all coal, fireclay and other minerals whatsoever, such rights held in Computer Freehold Register 681/11 (minerals only), over the land eleventhly described in the Schedule to this notice are acquired for road and shall vest in the Crown;
