A Proclamation

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, I, The Honourable Anand Satyanand, Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule to this notice to be taken for road and to vest in the Crown on the 14th day after the date of the publication of this Proclamation in the New Zealand Gazette.

Notice of Intention to Acquire an Easement Over Land for Water Treatment Purposes—Onslow Street, Paeroa

Notice is hereby given that the Hauraki District Council, under the provisions of section 23(1)(b) of the Public Works Act 1981, proposes to acquire the easement described in the Second Schedule hereto (“the easement”) over land described in the First Schedule hereto (“the land”).

The easement is required for the conveyance of water by means of a pipeline to and from a water treatment plant which supplies water to Paeroa.

The owner and any persons having a registered interest in the land over which the easement is to be acquired have been served with notice of the council’s intention to take the easement and right to object.

Any other person wishing to object to the proposed taking of the said easement may forward a written objection to the Registrar, Environment Court, Department of Courts, PO Box 7147, Wellesley Street, Auckland, within 20 working days of the date of publication of this notice.

If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing will be held and the objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing and will have the right to appear and be heard.

Land Acquired for Road and Set Apart for Use in Connection With a Road (Segregation Strip)—State Highway 18, 179 Kyle Road, Greenhithe

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, Ronald Alistair Jolly, Land Information New Zealand, declares:

(a) Pursuant to section 20(1), that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the First Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for road which, pursuant to section 60(2) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, becomes road and State highway;

(b) Pursuant to section 52, the land described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be set apart for use in connection with a road (segregation strip) on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
